The Watch List
A pretty much orderless list of things that have caught my eye
Theme Foundry – http://thethemefoundry.com/
Drew at the theme foundry is an ex pro footballer who now produces some of the best designed and well coded Wodpress themes there are, including the Traction theme I use for seand.info
Tradeshift - http://www.tradeshift.com/
One of Morten Lund’s investments. There is something very deja vu about hubs for invoice processing but Tradeshift has a very Web 2.0 spin on the whole thing with a free option for small business and light users with large corporate and government users (and they appear to have some signed up) paying for the platform.
Appcelerator Titanium – http://www.appcelerator.com/
I really like and respect what these guys are trying to do. Cross platform native code generation for Apps. Not as easy as it seems, and yes there will always be compromises but most apps out there will need to target users on at least the iPhone, Android and Blackberry and these guys look like one of the best bets for creating write once run anywhere that meets the native API requirements that Apple have created.
OpenPitLane – http://www.openpitlane.co.uk
Ok I have a vested interest with this one as it is a site that I set up with a group of friends to act as a central resource for UK Trackday information. Totally non commercial but already with content (the infamous Trackday Calendar) being syndicated in print media.
